We have several support groups across Scotland, find out more about them here;
General Information for all support groups
Due to current coronavirus restrictions and guidance, all of the support groups that meet in a physical location are currently suspended. In their place, we are currently running a virtual group which everyone is welcome to attend.
Meeting times and details of our new ‘Scottish Stammering Network Virtual Support Group’ and all upcoming support groups can be found here.
All of our support groups across Scotland provide a friendly and welcoming environment to everyone who attends. It is rare in daily life to meet others who have a stammer, so our groups are a great place to do this. It might seem a bit daunting to come along to a group like this for the first time. However, everyone is very friendly and there to help each other.
People who attend our support groups in Scotland have given excellent feedback. No one is put on the spot to speak and the host of the meeting always introduces new people at the start. There is no need to worry about those initial introductions. You are free to take part in meetings as much as you like or just sit and listen.
All of our meetings are free to attend.
